Just watched 3 idiots and wow… really… Thank God I did not watch it in the office or I’d have been crying my way all throughout the movie. Thank India and Bollywood for movies like these – comedy, drama, romance, suspense, inspirational. Wish we had more Rancho’s in this world. People who are not afraid to break norms. There are rules, yes. We need to have rules to be able to function well in this society or there’ll be anarchy. However, God gave us intellect, too, to discern between right and wrong. The majority is not always right. Tradition is just that – tradition. It may have worked for times of old but we should not be afraid to replace it with new practices, new belief systems, new paradigms, new worldviews, and new perspectives as long as it works for the common good or the universal good. This movie reaffirms my love of knowledge and philosophy and my own vision of success. Because of this movie, I now want to visit India someday. I’ll add that to my bucket list. 😀
